Ordering an Artwork

Ordering an artwork

Every artwork is exclusively printed and framed to order. For this reason, a meeting between the artist and the acquirer is available for every order over 500€. If this meeting is unable to take place, a written and/or verbal exchange between the two parties must take place to confirm and approve the order. The order will not be confirmed until this exchange has taken place.

   Every artwork includes:

•  The artist’s signature

•  A silver Artrust authentication seal on the back of the artwork
•  A gold  Artrust certificate of authenticity seal

•  A permanent access to the Artrust website so the acquirer can control the authenticity of the artwork

Every order acknowledges the acceptance of the price and description of the artworks available at time of order. Also, you declare having read and accept the Terms of Sale before confirming the order.

Price of artworks

The artworks are invoiced with 5,5% VAT.  Packing, insurance and transport of the artwork are extra. The artist reserves the right to alter prices. The prices are stated in Euros on both the French and English language websites

Shipping an artwork

Artworks are packaged in made-to-measure secure boxes to give maximum protection during transport. The cost of packaging and shipping are extra and are paid for by the acquirer. The package is given to a reliable transporter, responsible for the delivery.
The package is sent at the acquirer’s own risk. Only the acquirer will be able to establish the state of the package at reception and emit a complaint to the transporter.

Insurance

To guarantee against loss or deterioration of the parcel during transport, insurance is included in the transportation cost. This insurance covers every shipment and insures the artwork for the total amount of its value. The insurance covers the value of the artwork indicated by the artist on the invoice, excluding any other value.

Custom duties

Every order made and delivered outside France may be submitted to taxes and custom duties at destination. Custom duties and any other tax that may occur from shipping an artwork are to be paid for by the acquirer and are the acquirer’s responsibility.
